      At the request of John Estep the following Deed was recorded August 27, 1808
      Indenture made April 2, 1808; Richard Llewellin and Philipa Llewellin his wife of Jefferson County, Virginia in consideration of $1 paid by John Estep has sold all their right title and interest by will of Dr. James Bate deceased to a tract of land called "Mill Purchase" containing 10 acres also all the lands remaining unsold I the aforesaid Dr. James Bate to William Wilkinson, and also the land that remained unsold by the heirs of Dr. James Bate to Edward Burch of Charles County called "Wilfords Meadows" all lying in Charles County and contiguous to each other. Signed Richard Llewellin, Philipa Llewellin in the presence of and acknowledged before Patrick McGill, William Luckett justices of the peace for Frederick County, Maryland and certified by William Ritchie clerk of Frederick County Court
      April 2, 1808; Philipa Llewellin wife of Richard Llewellin relinquished her right of dower
