I, John Franklin Gray of CC, being sick and weak of body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
To brother Alexander Gray, my plantation whereon I now reside, commonly called and known by the name of "Chinguipin"together with 88 acres of land adjoin which I bought of Robert Fergusson being part of a tract of land called "Middleton Resurveyed". Alson negroes Jess (carpenter), Jacob, Rose and Dianna.
To brother Robert Gray, a tract called "The Mansion" containing 116 acres.
To Joseph Gray, Benedicta Gray and Matilda Gray, children of brother Robert Gray, my tract of land called "Double Trouble Resurveyed" together with 91 acres adjoining which I purchased of the heirs of Joseph Young deceased being a part of a tract called "The Three Sisters".
To brother Joseph Gray, all the monies due by him to me on mortgate bond note or otherwise.
To children of sister Priscilla McConnell 2,000 dollars.
To children of sister Elizabeth Grim 1,000 dollars.
Item: the balance and residue of my estate equally divided in three part, 1/3 to brother Robert Gray, 1/3 to the children of brother Joseph Gray and 1/3 to the children of my sister Elizabeth Grim

Roger Posey, Will, August 25, 1844; March 2, 1847
I, Roger Posey of CC, being weak in body, but of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding;
To son Henry Posey, the plantation on which I now reside, he paying to my granddaughter Artemacia Posey 100 dollars, and my son to maintain and provide for my wife Mary Posey and my two grandchildren, Artemcia Posey and William Posey during the life of my wife. Also 1 mare colt.
To son George Posey, the tract of land on which he at present resides by paying over to my granddaughter Artemacia Posey 75 dollars.
To grandsons William Posey, part of a tract of land which I purchased of Capt. Alexander Gray and running with the line of the tract left to my son George Posey, till it intersects the road leading from the Baptist Meeting and the corner of the land formerly owned by John Warden containing between 80 and 90 acres.
To daughter Elizabeth Posey (who intermarried with John Posey), the tract of land lying between the lands of Burdett Posey and the lands bequeath to my son George Posey except 15 acres now called "Double Cabins".
To son Thomas Posey, the tract of land he at present resides which I purchased of William D. Cobey and Harrison Posey and the 15 acress reserved from the lands of my daughter Elizabeth Posey called "Double Cabins".
