      Doctor William Watts (Will and Codicil), September 16, 1793; April 8, 1796, May 2, 1796
      I, William Watts of CC being sick and weak of body but of sound mind and memory
      Imprimis: After my just debts are paid which are to be done out of the rents of my land and hires of my negroes that will be due me the first day January next from Isaac Latimer.
      To brother John Watts, the four following lots or parcels of land to wit; Number 2,339, 2,340, 2,341 and 2,342 containing two hundred acres of land more or less of the land westward of For Cumberland In Washington or Alleganey County as will more fully appear by Certificate.
      To brother Edward Watts, all that tract of parcel of land lying and being in Charles County called Coomes Purchase containing 150 acres. Also four negroes to wit; Moll, Elizabeth, Catharine and Lucy, all my stock of horses, cattle, sheep and hogs, all library books/except my books of account, six silver table spoons, six silver tea spoons, one pair of silver tea tongs, one hundred pounds current money that Isaac Smoot are owing me on bond, sixty pounds of the money that Samuel Turner Dyson are owning me on onto including the sum that the said Dyson have given an order in favour of my said brother Edward, and all the money that my brother in law Henry King are owing me, my riding horse, saddle and bridle.
      To William Rowling {Rawlings}, son of Elizabeth Rowling, two hundred and fifty pounds current money to be paid when he arrives at 21yrs by my brother Edward Watts who I request him to provide education and then have him bound out to some good trace till he arrives to the age of 21yrs and paid by said Edward out of his own estate as I have bequeathed to him sufficiently.
      To my friend Alexander McPherson, seventy five pounds current money for the purpose of liberating two children that I have requested him to do.
      To brother Edward Watts, one negroe man called Niskin, provided he relinquishes all his right title claim and interest in two of the eldest negroes that my mother mentions in her will to his Brother John Watts, that he the said Edward to have the young of the three negroes that was mentioned in said will, but in case my said brother Edward will not comply with this my request in giving up the two negroes to his brother John Watts, I then give the said negro Niskin to my brother John Watts.
      To brother John Watts, the residue of my estate
      To Thomas Hatch Dent and Ann Jeffrys (my nurse) be paid and satisfied for the trouble and expense that they have been at with me in my present sickness, immediately.
