To father John Garner the residue of my estate and after my fathers death negro woman Mogg may be free.

I, Richard Bennett Mitchell of CC, being weak and indisposed, but sound and retentive in mind and memory;
To son Francis Ignatius Mitchell, two tracts bought by me from John Clements (of Jacob) and Jane his wife as by deed dated December 27, 1792.
To sons Joseph Thomas Mitchell (western) and Richard Bennett Mitchell (eastern) at 21yrs, the tract that I live, to be divided into two parts and agreeable to the instructions of my brother Richard Mitchell and after the death of their mother.
To son James Wheeler Mitchell, all my lands in the State of Kentucky
To wife Elizabeth Mitchell, the whole sole use of the land I live on during her widowhood. Likewise all my personal property and at her decease to my children. Also if any of my daughters (unnamed) remain unmarried after the death or marriage of their mother, a room in my dwelling house be reserved for their separate accommodation and land set apart for working of such slaves.

Indenture made March 25, 1816; Mary Ann Fenwick, Eleanor Phebe Fenwick and Dorothy S. Boarman in consideration of $14 lawful money of the United States and the quantity of 3720 pounds of net crop tobacco paid by Richard Bennett Pye have sold all their right title property claim interest and demand to a tract lying in Charles County being part of a tract called "Cornwallis Neck" whereon Joseph Watson now resides containing 350 acres.
