Smith as also for the better maintenance support and livelihood of her and her children has assigned all his right title interest to part of a tract lying in Charles County in the neighborhood of Newport being the property of the late Monica Edelen the, deceased mother of John M. Edelen also deceased and whom the said John M. Edelen devised to his right title as joint heirs with the other children of Monica Edelen. And whereas John M. Edelen by his deed bearing notes bearing date November 26, 1811 did convey unto Bernard Spalding jointly with Basil Smith, deceased husband of her the said Elizabeth H.
