      Indenture made March 28, 1760; Thomas Philpot of the City of London, merchant in consideration of 100 pounds sterling paid by Abraham Jones of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Majors Lott" containing 206 acres and beginning on the west side of Collington Branch and bounded by William Brashears land and Samuel Pottenger's land. To warrant and defend from all manner of persons having any claim and also procure or cause Sarah Lamar, widow and relict of John Lamar, Jr., to exonerate and release her right of dower in said land.       1790-1791 Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records Liber JJ 2 [Abstract by Mike Marshall]; Page 516. At the request of Daniel Carroll of Duddington and Joseph Slater the following Boundary Agreement was recorded May 12, 1791
      We Daniel Carroll of Duddington and Joseph Slater have this day agreed that to prevent any dispute about the last line of "Dunnington Manor" and the second line of "New Troy" the parties have agreed to establish one line; beginning at a stone marked DBM now fixed on the brow of the bank of the Eastern Branch of Potomac River near the lower end of Dunnington Swamp which stone was proved by a land commission granted to Jonathan Slater, father to Joseph Slater in 1764 by Col. George Beall, Walter Evans and others and running west to a large stone heretofore fixed where the second line of "New Troy" ended as run by John FA Priggs in 1757; and we bind ourselves in the sum of 500 pounds currency to abide by the line.
