  • Notes
    • "Neither John Diskin nor his wife, Agatha, survived long after the marriage. Agatha must have died first since the distribution of her estate includes property distributed to Mr. John Diskin.. He died testate before 1 Oct. 1764. His will was recorded in a now missing Prince William County will book. His estate sale on 22 Oct. 1764 and estate account, 6 Sept. 1769, were not rcorded until 4 Dec. 1787. Bridger Haynie, son-in-law and executor of the estate, was apparently extremely lax in settling the estate and both John Ferguson, husband of Joanna Diskin, and John Jackson, husband of Rachel Diskin apparently had to resort to court action to obtain their portions of Diskin's estate."
