      Indenture made June 10, 1752; Luke Nicholls of Frederick County, Maryland, planter, and Susannah Nicholls his wife for divers good causes and considerations him thereunto moving but more especially for and in consideration of 1000 pounds of tobacco paid by Nathan Harris of Charles County, Maryland have sold their right estate property claim and demand unto the moiety or half part of a tract called "Second Thought" lying in PGCo which was on November 1, 1701 granted to John Cood of St. Mary's County, Maryland and by his last will and testament bearing date February 27, 1708 to his son Richard Cood who died possessed intestate leaving issue two daughters Jane Cood and Susannah Cood now wife of Luke Nicholls. Whereby Susannah became entitled to the moiety of the tract in coparcenary with her sister together with all dwelling houses messuages buildings barns stables orchards gardens profits commodities advantages and appurtenances belonging. Signed Luke Nicholls, Susannah Nicholls in the presence of George Dent, John Ching and acknowledged before George Dent and at the same time Susannah Nicholls wife of Luke Nicholls relinquished her right of dower
