      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that wee MATHEW DAVIS, EDWARD TOMLINSON and CHARLES LEWIS of County of Richmond are held and firmly bound unto the Worshipful! his Maties Justices of the Peace for said County in the full and just sume of Six hundred pounds Sterling to the which payment well and truly to be made wee bind our selves our heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with our Seals and Dated the Sixth day of February 1722
      THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such that if the above bound MATHEW DAVIS, Admr, of all the goods chattles and credits of JOHN DAVIS, deced,, doe make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods chattles and credits of said deced., and the same soe made doe exhibite into County Court of Richmond at such time as he shall be thereunto required by said Court, and the goods chattles and credits do administer according to Law, and further doe make a just and truo account of his actings and doings therein when thereunto required by said Court, and shall pay and deliver unto such persons respectively as the Justices by their order of Judgment shall direct pursuant to the Laws in that case made and provided; And if it shall hereafter appeare that any Last Will and Testament was made by said deced„ and the Ear. or Exrs. therein named do exhibite the same into said Court making request to have it allowed and approved, accordingly if MATHEW DAVIS, being thereunto required. do render and deliver up his Lettes of Adman, approbation of such Testament being first made and had in said Court Then this Obligation to be void and of none effect, otherwise to remaine in full force and vertue Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of

      WILLIAM JENINGS, CHARLES BRUCE, WILLIAM GRIFFIN and WILLIAM BARKER or any three of them sometime between this and the next Court are appointed to appraise all and singular the Estate of JOHN DAVIS, deced., in money which shall be presented to their view and make report thereof to the next Court; JOHN METCALFE, Gent. or any other Justice of the Peace for this County, is requested to administer an Oath to the Appraisers for their true appraisment of the Decedent's Estate as also to JOHN MORTON, the Administrator, for his true discovery thereof

      JOHN DAVIS, Orphan of JOHN DAVIS, late of this County, deced., this day moved the Court for liberty to choose JOHN MORTON his Guardian which is granted giveing security; whereupon JOHN MORTON together with WILLIAM MORTON and JOHN DEANE in open Court entred into Bond and acknowledged the same which was ordered to be recorded
