KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I HENRY MONCASTER of County of Rappac.doe hereby give unto my Daughter, REBECCA, one black heifer with fower white feete and a starr in her forehead to her and her heires forever withall her female increase except only the first Cow Calfe that ye said Heifer shall bring I give unto my Son, HENRY, if in case it liveth till it be weanable but if in case it should chance to dye before it bee weanable that then he have the next Cow Calfe which ye sd Cow shall bring, and the said Cow and all her increase female to be to the only use of my Daughter. REBECKA, aforesaid Except what was before excepted till of age or marriage day which shat first happen As Witness my hand this 5th day of September 1682
Teste The mark of ye Heifers is a crop & staple in ye right eare and a crop on ye left as Witness my hand the day & yeare above said
