      KNOW ALL PEOPLE to whom this present Writing shall come I THOMAS WARRIN of Spotsylvania County send Greeting &c., KNOW YE that I THOMAS WARRIN as well for and in consideration of the naturall love and affecton which I have and do bare to my well beloved Daughter, RACHELL ASKEW, the Wife of JOHN ASKEW, as for other good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have and by these presents do give and grant unto my Daughter, RACHELL ASKEW, the Wife of JOHN ASKEW, and to the heirs of her body lawfully begotten one certain parcel' of land containing ninety and five acres lying on the South side of the MIDDLE RIVER in Spotsylvania County and bounded; Beginning at a white Oake corner tree of JOHN ROGERS's standing in a sSlash of the North Fork of the SOUTH RIVER, thence by an old line of marked trees West fifty and eight poles to a white Oake a Poplar and Gum corner trees standing in a Branch of Slash, thence up the Branch or Slash North fourteen degrees West fifty and six poles, thence North twenty five degrees East thirty eight poles, thence North fourty five degrees East eighteen poles to a white Oake corner tree standing in the Slash, thence North three degrees East one hundred and ninety poles to two white Oake saplins, thence North seventy and seven degrees East fourty and five poles to a corner Spanish Oake standing in JOHN ROGERS's line, thence along said ROGERS's line South three degrees West to the beginning place; To have and to hold the tract of land and appurte-nances unto RACHELL ASKEW, the Wife of JOHN ASKEW, and to the heirs of her body lawfully begotten and THOMAS WARRIN his heirs shall warrent and for ever defend by these presents, In Witness whereof THOMAS WARRIN hath hereunto sett his hand and seal this 30th day of March in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty five
