Notes - From Timothy Headley
Martin Van Buren Davis was the brother of my Virginia Davis Beavers and a son of Warren Davis and Catherine Fairfax. He was in the 49th Virginia Infantry Co B (Quantico Guards) in TWBS. He was imprisoned at Point Lookout Prison Camp in St. Mary’s County Maryland. This I know since I a member of Descendents of Point Lookout Organization through his service. I hope this sheds a little light. Below is from original muster rolls. Martin, John A, George W and Warren were brothers.
Davis, George W. wounded at Spotsylvania Court House (Davis) Paroled at Fairfax Court House May 1, 1865.
