      An Inventory of the Goods of JOHN DENNIS JUNR., who dyed at WICOMOCOE at JOHN DENNIS SENR. the ultimo July 1652, appraised by RICHD. BUDD, JO GRESHAM, JO. GAMBLIN, sworne before GEORGE FLETCHER the 4th Septem: 1652
      A bed & pillowes, two tradeing cloth blanketts and a white blanket praised at tobco 250 lbs. a ruffe cloke, two ruffes shutes, 3 coates & a pare of breeches of Island Cloth; 2 pare of gray stockings, a haft, 2 capps, a pare Julia gloves, a cloth shirts old, a pare of bootes with a pare of spats, and two pare new shooes; 2 pare of drawers, 3 shirts, 5 plains bands, a neckcloth, 3 handkerchiefs, looking glass, 10 lbs. of BARBADOES INDICOE, an old Sea Chest & other things, a Bible & 7 other bookes; a Silver dram cup & 3s, in money -050; a pewter Aquavitia bottle & dram cupp of the same, one Inkhorne; Total 915,

      The Accompt of JOHN DENNIS SENR., Administratr: of all & singular the goods & chattles of JOHN DENNIS JUNR., deced., late whilest he lived of GREAT WICOCOMOCOE in the County of Northumberland & Colony of Virginia.,
      Imprs this accountant and administrator doth charge himself with all the estate of the said deceased contained in an inventory amounting unto the sum of 2217
      Paid & laid out for the deceaseds Estate as followeth:
      Imprs, This Accompant & Administrator hath paid himselfe a Debt due & oveing unto him by the deced. in his lifetime for transporting the deceds. goods from NEWPOURT NEWES. Itm, Due from the deced,, to this Accompant for nine months dyett. Itm, for a funeral dinner. Itm. for the deceaseds washing & Soape which in his life time; Itm. for travails & dyet at the ORDINARY about getting the Admon. Itm, to the Clerke of the Court for his fees - 213.
      So it appeareth by this Accot. that this Accompant & Administratr: hath got some money in his hand out of the Estate of the deced., the sume of 0069;

      Whereas it appeares to this Court that JOHN DENNIS borrowed a Boat of HENRY HURST and JOHN ASHLEY Cooke the said Boat from the said JOHN DENNIS his Landinge place without any loane from the said DENNIS; It is therefore ordered that the said ASHLEY shall put in the said DENNIS presentsecurity to keepe the said DENNIS harmless from the said HENRY HURST
