      THIS INDENTURE made the Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty six, Between JOHN HILL of that part of Sittenburn Parrish lying in KING GEORGE County of one part and WILLIAM MORTON of that part of Sittenburn Parrish lying in Richmond County of the other part; Wittnesseth that JOHN HILL in consideracon of Eight pounds Sterling to him in hand paid by WILLIAM MORTON whereof JOHN HILL doth acknowledge himselfe satisfyed hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto WILLIAM MORTON all that parcell of land scituate in that part of Sittenburn Parrish lying in Richmond County and adjoyning to the land where WILLIAM MORTON now lives containing by estimation about forty acres (be the same more or less) the same being part of One hundred acres of land purchased by JOHN SHIPPIE of Mrs. ELIZABERTH GARDINER, Widdow, as by Deed dated the Sixth day of June one thousand six hundred and ninty three may appear; which said SHIPPIE sold the same to Mr. JOHN DOD by Deed dated the Second day of October one thousand six hundred and ninty five and recorded among the Records of Richmond County, which said DOD by an Assignment on the Deed made over all his Right and Title of the land to RICHARD HILL, Father of above named JOHN HILL, party to these presents; the land is devided or seperated from the residue of the land by a Branch of the Second Swamp and a line of marked trees run in the Branch and so running the several' courses specifyed in the Deed from GARDINER to SHIPPIE and the rents issues and yearly profits of the premises; To have and to hold the parcell of land unto WILLIAM MORTON his heirs freely and clearly discharged from all incumbrances paying and discharging the Rents and Services therein due and of right accustomed to be paid to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the premises; In Witness whereof the partys first menconed hath hereunto interchangeably sett their hands and fixed their seals the day and year above written
