      1 Oct. 1739. George Taylor of Orange County to Samuel Baker of same. Lease for lives of Samuel Baker, Margaret Baker his wife and Bartholomew Baker his son. 100 acres at the Little Mountains ... annual rent, 500 pounds of tobacco payable at Fredericksburg Warehouse and one fat hen, capon or pullet at the dwelling house of George Taylor. If the tenant shall keep more than three tithables there besides himself, to pay for each tithable 100 pounds of tobacco. Kemp shall plant 100 apple trees in an orchard 25 foot asunder.
