      George Simmons was married to Sarah.
      George & Sara Simmons appear in parish records of St. James Church, Herring Creek, AA MD, on Sept 25, 1678 when 3 sons are baptized at the same time, George, Abraham & Isaac. Birth dates are given as shown. All 5 children are listed in George's will. George's brother, William, is given a life estate in a dwelling on the plantation and ground to plant a crop. That information is not included in the will as abstracted, but may be helpful. Son George married Elizabeth Knighton, daughter of Thomas Knighton & Dinah Batee, son Abraham married Martha, son Isaac married Deborah, daughter Mary married 1. Thomas Lee 2. Philip Scrivener. (Have not verified Mary information yet, but have the others)
