Jul 30, 1743 from William Beall & James Edmonston (Edmonstone) of PG, to Mary Thrasher of PG, for 800 lbs of tobacco, part of a tract of land called Laybrinth, bounded by a tract of land called the Benjamin on the NW side of the Widow Thrasher's now dwelling plantation, containing about 25 acres. Signed - William Beall, James Edmonston. Wit - Thos Chittam, Geo. Robinson. Elizabeth & Mary, the wives of the sd William Beall & James Edmondstone, relinquished their rights of dower to the afd land before Tho. Owen* and George Scott*. The 800 lbs of tobacco was paid by Benjamin. Thrasher. Recorded Aug 24, 1743
