THIS INDENTURE made the twentininth and thirtieth day of December in the eighteenth yare of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the second and in the yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred fourty & five six Between BENJAMAN WICKLIFF of the Parish of Dettingan in the County of Prince William of one part and ROBT, WICKLIFF of the Parrish & County aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that the said BENJAMAN WICKLIFF for the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds current money of Virginia have sold unto the said ROBERT WICKLIFF and his heirs forever and the said ROBERT WICKLIFF being in actual! possession of all the premises herein after mentioned & expressed by virtue of a Lease thereof made for one whole year and of the statute for transferring uses into possession a certain tract of land being in the Counties of Prince William and FAIRFAX being a PATTENT of land given and granted unto Mr. WANSFORD ARRINGTON by Deed from the PROPRIATORS OFFICE bearing date the (Lease) seventh day (Release) seventeeth day of December one thousand seven hundred and sixteen and is bounded beginning at a marked redd Oake standing on the upper side of BULL RUN on the upper side of a Branch called the ROCKY CAVE BRANCH neare opposite to the upper end of a tract of land formerly surveyed for PETER SMITH of WESTMORELAND COUNTY & extending thence North West to a Spanish Oake standing on a hill side thence North East to a Hicory standing on the said BULL RUN side on the upper side of the mouth of a small Branch thence Crossing the said Runn North East to a white Oake standing neare the head of a small Branch falling into POPES HEAD RUN thence South East to a black Oake thence South West to a corner marked white Oake standing in the said PETER SMITH line near a small black Oake saplin standing on a Ridge being corner tree to the said SMITHs land thence along the said SMITHs line West to said SMITH beginning Beach standing on the said BULL RUN side in a small Gully thence down the said Run according to the several corses and meanders thereof to the beginning redd Oake together with all houses and appurtenances to the land belon ging To Have and To Hold the said parcell of land containing Three hundred & thirty four accers unto him the said ROBERT WICKLIFF his heirs or assigns forever, In Witness whereof the sd BENJAMAN WICKLIFF have to these presents sett his hands & Seal

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I BEN JAMAN WICKLIFF have bargained and solde unto ROBERT WICKLIFF SENOR all my propety title intrest & right of five negroes named Dick, Sue, Young Dick, Jack & Nell for the valluable consideration of One hundred and fifty pounds current money of Virginia in hand to me paid which sd Negros I the said BENJAMAN WICKLIFF do warrant & defend from the claime of any person whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have sett my hand & Seal this first day of Janry one thousand seven hundred and fourty five six
