Indenture made December 10, 1779; Francis Gilbert and Mary Ann Gilbert his wife, farmers of Frederick County, Maryland in consideration of 7000 pounds current money paid by George Noble, Gentleman have sold all that piece of land which was heretofore conveyed by Daniel Dulany, Esq. to George Noble, deceased of PGCo, grandfather to George Noble party to these presents being the moiety or ½ part of 600 acres called "Elizabeth Manor" alias "Piscattaway Manor". Signed Francis Gilbert, Mary Ann Gilbert, George Noble in the presence of and acknowledged before William Murdock Beall, James Johnson (JP's of Frederick County, Maryland)

Indenture made December 30, 1779; George Noble of Frederick County, Virginia in consideration 3394 pounds current money paid by William Lyles, Jr., of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Elizabeth Manor" containing 300 acres which land descended to him from his father the late Thomas Noble, deceased of PGco. Signed George Noble in the presence of and acknowledged before H. Rozer, Thomas Clagett and at the same time Mary Ann Noble w/o George Noble relinquished her right of dower
