    • 6 May 1748: I James Hackley...Loving son John land in Essex County...equal share of my land in Prince William with my other five sons...loving sons Joseph, Lott, Richard, James & Francis all my land in Prince William County...my Loving wife Elizabeth have the use & advantage of all my labouring Negroes Captain, Dinah, & Pender during her natural life and after her decease them and all the rest of my Negro's to be equally divided...wife have the use of my stock of Hogs, Cattle, Sheep upon both my plantations...horses and mares...as to the Ready Cash which I have by me with which I intended to buy two young Negro boys, I desire it may be put to the same use by my executors & executrix...2 November 1741.       Francis Hackley, Culpeper. 6.3.0 and 40.7.6 (Falmouth Store), 0.15.4-1/2} (Culpeper Store), Wm. Cunningham & Co. He removed to Kentucky about 1790 or 1791 in tolerable good circumstances. He now lives in Franklin County, able to pay.
