      -This Indenture made the fourteenth day of July in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and thirty Between HENRY FOX of King William County of the one part and SAMUEL HENDERSON of HANOVER County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said HENRY FOX for and in consideration of the sum of sixteen pounds Sterling money of England to him already paid hath bargained sold aliened made over and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain sell alien make over and confirm unto the said SAMUEL HENDERSON on his heirs or assigns one certain parcel or tract of land containing one thousand acres situate laying and being in Spotsylvania County and bounded as followeth Beginning at a red oak a corner to JOSEPH WOOLFOLK on the northwest side Bever Dam Run thence north fourty degrees east seven hundred and twenty poles to a corner pine of JOHN STEVEN's on a hill side thence south eighty degrees west six hundred and seventy poles to two pines in the head a Valey thence south twenty two degrees east four hundred poles to a white oak and pine thence south fourty five degrees west twenty four poles to two oaks and two maples by the east side of a large Run thence down that Run to the place where it first began to have hold and peaceably to enjoy the said one thousand acres of land from the claim right or title of him the said HENRY FOX his heirs Exrs. or any person or persons whatsoever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said SAMUEL HENDERSON his heirs or assigns for ever he the said SAMUEL HENDERSON for himself his heirs Exrs. doth promise covenant and agree that he will from time to time and at all times forever hereafter the Right of the said Land and premises will warrant and defend to the said HENDERSON the seating and serving the same in due time as aforesaid. In Witness whereof the said FOX hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.

      WILLIAM JONES, JOHN MALORY, NIGHTINGALL DALBY HENRY FOX [seal] Memorandum that full and peaceably possession and seizin was this day given and delivered of the Land and premises within mentioned from the within HENRY FOX to the said HENDERSON in presents of us whose names are subscribed in Witness whereof the said FOX hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year within

      At a Court held for Spotsylvania County on Tuesday October the sixth Anno Dom.
      1730.
      HENRY FOX Deed with the Livery and Seizen for land unto SAMUEL HENDERSON was proved per the oaths of WILLIAM JONES, JOHN MALORY and NIGHTINGALL DALBY and at the said HENDERSON's motion the same was admitted to record.
