      This Indenture made 13th May 1724 between MAURICE LYNAH of County Stafford Planter and THOMAS McBOYD Son and heir of PATRICK McBOYD late of the County of Westmoreland in Virginia deceased by GEORGE TURBERVILE Gentleman his Guardian of other part .. by deeds of lease & release .. for Five thousand pounds of good Tobacco sold 100 acres on head of Accakeek Run in Stafford being part of 500 acres of land purchased by said Maurice Lynah of Capt. EDWARD MOUNTJOY deced by deed dated the ( ) 1706 the said 500 acres being part of 940 acres as first granted unto Edward Mountjoy by deed from the Proprietors office dated .. 1703 said 100 acres being bounded ..Beginning at a great marked Poplar in a branch of the said Accokeek Run on the fflat side opposite to a Round hill being the tree marked by McBoyd for his beginning corner tree of 100 acres sold by the said Lynah unto WILLIAM WILLIAMS deced .. dividing tree to ye said Maurice Lynah and the land formerly purchased of the said 940 acres by OWEN1 LORD and now in possession of THOMAS MATTINSON thence by an old line of marled trees .. near Main run of Accakeek .. to beginning ..
