      Whereas it was ye desire of ELIZABETH NEWMAN, Widdowe of this County deced., that PETER PRESLY JUNIOR & MARTHA & ELIZABETH HAYNIE should have some pte: of the Estate belonging unto her, the sd. ELIZA:, and in p:ticular of ye pt. of the sd. Estate hereafter in these pr:sents expressed; Vizt., Unto the sd. PETER PRESLY one yearling heyfer marked with a crop in ye left eare & slitt downe ye sd. eare as likewise unto the sd. MARTHA & ELIZA: HAYNIE joyntly one black pide Cow being marked with an under keele of ye right eare & cropt of ye left; as likewise unto the sd. MARTHA one f( ) a rugg curtaines & vallences & unto the sd. ( ) gold rugg; NOW KNOWE YEE that wee the ( ) doe hereby accordingly confirme ye sd. Estates ( ) PETER, MARTHA &ELIZA: together wth, ( )male increase unto the sd. PETER ( ) till he shall come to ye age of Seventeen yeares & them male & female to belong tohim the sd.       BE IT KNOWNE unto all men by these pr:sents that I JOHN HAYNIE of the County of Northumberland in Virginia have for diverse ( ) out of the affecon I beare unto my two Daughters, MARTHA & ELIZABETH HAYNIE, & likewise unto my Daughter in Law, SUSANNA WARE, to each of them these cattle following, vizt., unto the sd. MARTHA one black Cove knowne by the name of Nan cey she being over( ) of both eares and holes in both eares; likewise wth: one black two yeare old heyfer ( ) name of Cocke and her, the sd. Heyfers Calfe being ( ) colour & a female, ye sd. Heyfer & Calfe being ( ) with a swallow tayle of both eares; Likewise unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH, I doe give one Cow knowne by the name of Browning, shee being cropt of both eares & slitts cutt in each; together with one yearling heyfer of a browne colour being swallow tayld. of both eares a small nick cutt under ye right care; As alsoe unto my Daughter in Law, SUSANNA, one browne Cove called corny ( ) of the left care & crept & slitt of the right, all which sd.
