Margaret Fairfax died 1866 in Prince William Co.,Va., she left her entire estate to her daughter and son in law William H and Susan (Fairfax) Simpson, who she had been living with apparently since Hezekiah's death. I went over her many census' she appears to have been born circa 1780..not 1759. She was not Hezekiah's first wife, and when determining the children of Hezekiah Fairfax by first wife and second wife, I look at the eldest child Henrietta (Fairfax) West, born 1776 my own William Fairfax Jr., born 1779. Hezekiah Fairfax's est birth is coming from a record of sale btw William Fairfax Jr., and his Father in the 1830s so I estimated no earlier then 1755/56 going by the age, we didn't know when Hezekiah would celebrate his birthday that year of the bill of sale. Given that Hezekiah's first wife Anne Mills, would be of child bearing age at least 18 years of age at marriage est., 1775 to bear Henerietta Fairfax at 1776 and Hezekiah Fairfax being about 20 years old at the birth of Henerietta. I place Anne Mills born btw 1755- 1758. We do not know when Anne (Mills) Fairfax died, and Margaret Calvert (tradition) we have not found the record identifying her as nee Calvert, married Hezekiah (the year). The Fairfax researchers do not know when Hezekiah Fairfax married his second wife but at the birth of his child Elizabeth Fairfax 1798, second wife of French Simpson, who was married first to Elizabeth Ash (Loudoun Co.,Va.) Elizabeth Fairfax was born 1798, given that Margaret, was born circa 1780, she would be old enough to be the mother of this child by Hezekiah Fairfax...Anne Mills would be btw 40-43 years of age in 1798, still capable of child bearing but toward the end of the child bearing years. By the time Susan Fairfax was born 1813, Anne Mills would have been in btw 55 to 58 years of age so not the mother of Hezekiah's youngest child, this is probably Margaret's daughter, and as I stated above Margaret (Calvert) Fairfax, left her entire e!
state to William H & Susan (Fairfax) Simpson. Hezekiah Fairfax had many children. I place the children born before Elizabeth Fairfax 1798 as the children of Anne Mills, the children who could possibly be Margaret's children by Hezekiah Fairfax I list from Elizabeth Fairfax on, although as I stated we don't know when Anne (Mills) Fairfax passed away. We know that William Fairfax Jr., was referred to as Billy Fairfax in depositions arising from the litigation of their father's estate and he referred to Margaret, as the old lady or old woman...so no love lost, she took back 300 acres and slaves ect...from William Fairfax Jr., he had a bill of sale, for earlier in the 1830s, from his father- this is also where the age of Hezekiah Fairfax came from. That 300 acres ended up with William H and Susan (Fairfax) Simpson. William Fairfax Jr., apparently had two more pieces of property, besides the property Margaret (Calvert) Fairfax, managed to get back through litigation.

From Hezekiah Fairfax's first marriage to Anne Mills,
      Henerietta Fairfax m Robert West
William Fairfax m Eleanor maybe nee Cooksey
      Nancy Fairfax m Joseph Crouch
      Mary Scott Fairfax Mathew Davis
Sarah "Sally" Fairfax m William Ashford
      Catherine Fairfax m Warren Davis

Possible children by second wife Margaret Calvert
      Elizabeth Fairfax M French Simpson
John Hezekiah Fairfax M Mary Mills Davis 2nd Anna Maria Langdon
      Sanford Fairfax m Priscilla Davis
      Minor Fairfax m Verlinda Tansill
      Thompson Fairfax m Nancy Saunders*
Susan Fairfax m William H Simpson no relation to French Simpson.

This William H Simpson, was living near Margaret (Calvert) Mills- 1840 census, PW CO VA, widow of John Mills died 1826, probably this is William H Simpson's grandmother she had two daughters Lydia Mills and Jane Mills they married Francis Simpson and George Simpson. Margaret Calvert sister of Lydia Calvert born 1750 died 1839, she was the mother of my Obediah Cooksey Jr., who married Susannah H Simpson, parents of Simpson Cooksey who married Mary Fairfax daughter of William Fairfax Jr., and Ellen ?Cooksey? possibly daughter from Lydia Calvert's first marriage to Obediah Cooksey Sr., she married second George Mills. William Fairfax Jr., was ordered to take George Mills estate inventory 1838 in PW CO VA., he was ordered to take Lydia Mills estate inventory in 1839 PW CO VA.
