      KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I FRANCIS TRIPLETT of ye County of Rappae:, Cooper, have for several! considerations me thereunto moving but more especially for ye consideration of Three thousand pounds of tobacco in hand ye receipt of wch I doe acknowledge from SAMUEL BOWIN, I ye sd FRANCIS TRIPLETT have sold unto SAMLL: BOWIN his heires & assignes all ye lands remaines to me out of a Pattent that was granted to me by ye Right Honble, WM. BERKLEY bearing date ye Twenty first day of January One Thousand Six hundred Sixty & six that is bounded as followeth: ye aforesd, land bindeth upon Capt.       KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I ABIGAIL TRIPLETT have for several good causes & considerations valuble me thereunto mooving, have appointed FRANCIS JAMES my true & lawful! Attorney for me & in my stead to acknowledge a smal tract of land to SAMUELL BOWIN his heires or assignes that ye sd SAMLL. BOWIN bought of my Husband, FRANCIS TRIPLETT, ye sd tract of land lying in ye FORREST, & adjoyning WILLIAM JETTs land, I ye sd ABAGALL TRIPLETT giveing my said Attorney free toleration to acknowledge ye third of ye sd land unto ye sd BOWIN, I ratifying & confirming whatever my sd Attorney shall doe in Cort: to stand & remains in as full force & power as if I my selfe was prsent, as Witness my hand this 3d March 1677

      TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come I Sr. WILLIAM BERKELEY send Greeting &c. Whereas by Instructions &c. Now Know yee that I the sd Sr. WILLIAM BERKELEY &c. do give and grant unto Mr. FRANCIS TRIPLETT one thousand and fifty acres of land lying on the North side of Rappa: River & in the Freshes thereof beginning at a red Oak being the first miles of a piece of land belonging to Mr. SAMLL, NICHOLLS deserted, whence running into a Woods by the said E. 418 poles to a marked Hickory, thence So. on the back of the land of NICHOLLS on Mr. THACKER als Capt. JOHN HULL to the Eastermost corner of HULLS land to a marked Beach whence North East by or neer the land of Lieut. Collnll. TOBY SMYTH deserted thence Westly thence No. W. by N, to a red Oake the Corner of the FOREST als COLEMANs whence We. to a marked Picory, thence S. W. by So to marked Gum and finally South to the place where it began being due unto the said FRANCIS TRIPLETT for the transportacon of one and twenty persons into this Colony whose names are on record men coned underneath this Pattent To have and to hold &c. To be held &c. Yeilding and paying &c. Provided that if the sd FRANCIS TRIPLETT his heirs doe not seat or plante &c. Given under my hand and the Seale of the Colony 21st of January 1660

County doe hereby assign over all our right in this within mencioned Pattent as also the Pattent and all the land belonging and mencioned in the said Pattent remaining without the line lately run by GILES RAWLES between him and the land that lies between him and the land of JAMES SCOTT To have and to hold and wee do hereby assigne over the said land and Pattent unto JOSIAS SHIP of the sd Parish and To have hold and enjoy to him the said JOSIAS SHIP of the sd Parish his heires & assigns forever, Together with all Profits and conveniences in large a manner as is exprest as also wee the said FRANCIS TRIPLETT and SAMUEL BOWEN do hereby bind ourselves to secure to the said JOSIAS SHIP his heirs from any Title or claim of PETER RAWLES which either he or any from him make unto the within mencioned premises as also to acknowledge this our Assignment and the land therein conteyned when wee be required in open Court To the true performance whereof wee bind ourselves our heirs In Witness whereof wee have set our hands & seals this first day of August 1685

      Indenture made lst/2nd June 1741 between MARMADUKE BECKWITH of Parish Lunenburg county Richmond & JONATHAN SYDENHAM of Hanover Parish King George County .. by deeds of lease & release .. for sum Fifty five pounds current money of Virginia sold 60 acres formerly purchased by SAMUEL BOWEN of FRANCIS TRIPLETT and is part of a great Tract taken up by the sd Triplett which said land was sold by WILLIAM LITMAN and FRANCES his wife to one THOMAS DICKENSON and acknowledged in Richmond County Court the 4th November 1713 and the said Dickenson Dying without Will Descending to his Son METCALFE DICKENSON who sold the same to the sd Beckwith and is bounded on lines of WILLIAM BALL, JAMES SCOTT, JOSEPH MINTON, SAMUEL NICHOLS and WILLIAM TILLER ..
