Also ANN GRIFFIN, the Wife of said WILLIAM appeared in Court and relinquished her Right of Dower in the land conveyed in the Deeds unto said MARMADUKE BECKWITH which was also admitted

      THIS INDENTURE made the Third of June in year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighteen Between WILLIAM GRIFFIN of Parish of Sittenburn in County of Richmond of one part and ROBERT COLE of Parish and County aforesd· of other part; Wittnesseth that WILLIAM GRIFFIN for the sume of Five shillings lawfull mony of Great Brittain to him in hand paid by ROBERT COLE by these presents doth bargain and sell unto ROBERT COLE his heirs all that percell of land scituate in Parish and County aforesaid it being part of SERGENTs Pattent containing One hundred acres be the same mo.re or less and bounded by the Land of MARMADUKE BECKWITH, THOMAS HUGHS and JAMES ANDERSON lately purchased by WILLIAM

Begining at a marked Dogwood and red Oak standing by the said GRIFFINs Shope together with all houses orchards and hereditaments to the same belonging by good and authentique Deeds of Bargain and Sale by way of Lease and Release bearingd ate the Second and Third day of June one thousand seven hundred and eighteen by the said ROBERT COLE bargained sould and conveyed by these presents doth bargain and sell unto ROBERT COLE (in his actuall possession now being of that percell of land mentioned (the lines and bounds of the
