I make this my last will and Testament first 1 give my soul to god .. my body I commend to the ground .. and as touching such worldly Estate .. I give in following manner .. Vizt. Imprimis I give to my Loving wife ANN SCOTT all my whole Estate both personal and Real. during her life Excepting she may marry then to devolve back to the said William Scott's heir's to be equally divided, the Land between my three sons, at the discretion of my Executors admes. or assigns to their heirs Lawfully begotten of their bodys forever, on failure of such heirs of either of their body forever to the Lawful heirs begotten of JOHN SHORTS body forever, on failure of them to the next of blood. item I give as Legacie my horse Rone to my friend CADWALLADER DADE. Item I give to my Brother in Law BURDIT CLIFTON my debt accot. as it now stands to this day.
