Isaac Allerton I came over on the Mayflower 1620. He was a freeman and seem to be above the station of most of the Pilgirms. Because of his education and standing the Plymouth colony sent him back to England to procure supplies. He made a number of trips back and forth between the Colony and England until 1635 when he was accused of having "sticky fingers" and banished from the Plymouth Colony.
Isaac seemed to be all over the place. Besides owning land in MA. he owned land in New Amsterdam on Coney Island and New Haven Connecticut.
The commonly accepted story is that he died in New Haven but has never been proven. Some believe that he made it to Maryland and died in Kent Co. He did have business partners with William and Robert Pearsall on Kent Isalnd. They left him when the found out Isaac II was to take over the business because he wasn't the trader that his father was.
