MD, planter, proved rights to 200 acres of land for transporting himself, his wife Ann Lawrence, and his sons Benjamin Lawrence, Jr. and Nehemiah Lawrence out of Accomac in Virginia into the Province, to inhabit. [Book 16, p. 319, Land Office, Annapolis]. Benjamin Lawrence of "The Deserts," Calvert Co. MD 26 Sep 1674, proved his rights for 500 acres of land [Book 18, p. 39, Land Office, Annapolis]. Benjamin Lawrence m. (2) abt 1676 Elizabeth Talbott b. 10 Aug 1656; d. 5 Mar 1689-90 [only known dau of Richard Talbott of "Poplar Knowle" West River, Anne Arundel Co. MD m. Elizabeth Ewen].
