Some of the info on David Rozier could be a combination of two David Rozier. One transported 1676 by Lewis Markham and the other transported Abt. 1658 with his brother John.

Re: David ROSSER family in Virginia 1600's

I have a David Rosser that would fit that description and is different from the other David Rosser listed in the discussion in the forum. I have a David Rosser with a birthdate of Abt. 1632. He is the son of a William Rosser b: Abt 1610 in Llansoy Parrish, Monmouthshire, Wales, UK and d: Abt 1662 in Llantillio-, Crossenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, UK. No info on the mother. I show William with Two sons, John b: Abt. 1630 in Llantillio, Crossenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, UK and d: 1689 in Southwark Parrish, Surry County, Virginia Colony. The notes on John were received from Robert M. Rosser.
      From Robert Rosser:
This John Rosser is reported to have left Bristol, England at about age 28 for the Virginia Colony with his brother, David Rosser in about 1658. His family line was located in/near the village of Llandillio-Crossenny, Monmouthshire, Wales. The Port of Bristol was the nearest British port to that locale. This information was given to me by the "Internet" by William P. Rosser (188 Westgate Drive, Monticello, Arkansas 71655). This information was obtained from a book called, "Bristol & America".
William states that he "believes that all early Virginia Colony Rosser lines arrived as one of those brothers, as this name was not a plentiful family name, especially that early on."

This is all the info that I have on this David. There is plenty of info (a lot of it conflicting) on the other David listed in the forum. Good Luck!
