Mar 22, 1742/[43] from John Allison of PG, planter, to William Phippard of St. Mary's County, planter, for 50 sterling, all that tract of land the sd Allison bought of James Moore, as appears by a deed passed from sd Moore to sd Allison dated May 25, 1723, being part of a tract of land called Gleaning, bounded by the north side of Goose Cr of Potomack River, containing about 100 acres. Signed - John Allison. Wit - Tho Owen*, Jno Hawkins Jr*. Eleanor, the wife of the sd John Allison, relinquished her right of dower to the lands within mentioned. Recorded Mar 22, 1742/[43].
