      We, Anne King Barker of CC, widow, Levena Gray of CC, single woman, John Steward Chilton, & Henry Davis of CC, planters, give bond in the sum of 5000 to the State of Maryland, this Apr 24, 1779, to warrant that sd Ann and Livinia, administratrixes of the goods, chattels, and credits of Anne Gray, late of CC, deceased, will make a true inventory of the deceased's estate.

      I, Benjamin Gray of CC, am of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding.
      To my daughter Tabitha Brett - 1 Negro girl named Jean. My Negro fellow George is to be hired out, and Tabitha is to receive the wages. If the Negro survives Tabitha, Jean is to be sold.
      To my daughter[s] Mary and Lavinia and my 2 sons, Jalizreel and Benjaman - the purchase money for Jean, to be equally divided between them.
      To my daughter Ann Barker - 1 Negro girl named Doll.
      To my daughter Catherine Dye - 1 shilling sterling.
      To my daughter Luvoisa Marshall - 1 Negro man named Jacob
      and 1 Negro girl named Dinah.
      To my daughter Mary Gray - 1 Negro man named Cato, 1 Negro woman named Cate, and 60 cash.

      To each of my sd children, Jalzeel, Benjamin, and Mary Gray - 1 equal part each of the moveable estate, after my sd wife's death.
      To my daughter Lavinia Gray - 100 in cash-
