      Charles County Land Record Book G#3, 1756-1761; Page 459. may 21, 1760 from John Chandler of CC, planter, to Walter Hanson of CC, merchant, for 7000 lbs of crop tobacco and for divers other good causes, 100 acres of land, being part of two tracts now in the possession of the sd John Chandler, the one called Jovestone [TIVERTON] and the other, Dogbed [ DEPTFORD?], the parts now made over being bounded by the NE corner of a tract of land called Thompson Town, containing & laid out for about 100 acres. Signed - John Chandler. Wit - Gus. Brown, Dan Jenifer, Charity, the wife of the sd John, Chandler, relinquished her right of dower to the lands within mentioned. Recorded Sep 24, 1760.
