Hall of Records at the Maryland State Archives in Annapolis, Maryland Land Office (Patents) - Libre 18, folio 152 - 2 November 1674 A List of Servants Transported by Samuell Gibbons of Bristoll in the Ship Batchelor of Bristoll

Judging from entries from "The Bristol Registers of Servants sent to Foreign Plantations 1654-86" by Peter Wilson Coldham, the "Batchelor of Bristol" was clearly picking up passengers from Bristol, England in the 1670's. The voyage from Bristol, England to St. Mary's, Maryland would have taken the ship around the south of Ireland, passing the ports at Dublin, Wexford, Waterford and Cork, all and any of which would be natural emigration ports, especially for Catholics, who would wish to go to Maryland, rather than Virginia, which was chiefly Church of England.

Baltimore Co. Colony of Maryland 2 Nov 1674, carrying a load of passengers, including 90 indentured servants? What kind of ship was it? How big was it? When was it built? What did it look like? Who owned it? What other voyages did it make? What eventually happened to it? I missed the answer. Could someone send it to me. I am sorry and grateful for the review!
