Charles County Maryland Land Record Liber Z#2, 1744-1753; Page 30. At the request of William Williams, the following determination was recorded on Apr 18, 1745.
CC. John Stromatt and William Williams, on the 25th instant, passed bonds to each other in the penalty of 100 to warrant their abiding by the determination of me, the subscriber concerning a controversy between them relating to sd John Stromatts in right of his wife Anne, late relict of William Williams, father to the afd William Williams, of 2 tracts of land called Frankum and Williams' Addition. This is to certify that I adjudge that John Stromatt's part, in full satisfaction for his wife's thirds of the afd 2 tracts, is on the north side of Frankum, bounded by Potomack River, Lyndseys Marsh, on the south of the house where sd Stromatt now dwells, a division made formerly between the late William Williams and Thomas Osburn deceased, including all the houses and improvements thereon, saving for William Williams the use of half the orchard that now is on Stromatt's part. Further, Stromatt may enjoy any timber for the use of the plantation that is growing on the east side of a line to be drawn from the intersection of Osburnis division to the 3rd bound tree of the land called Frankum, being a marked oak in the woods. Signed Jan 26, 1744/5 - Richard Harrison.
