      Indenture made October 8, 1761; John Goddart, planter out of the love and affection that he hath and doth bear unto Patrick Beall as also for in consideration of the sum of 100 pounds sterling money and in consideration him hereunto more especially moving has sold part of a tract called "Saturdays Work" containing 280 acres with all dwelling houses messuages buildings barns stables orchards gardens outhouses tobacco houses profits and commodities advantages and appurtances whatsoever thereunto belonging. Signed John Goddert in the presence of and acknowledged before Francis Waring, John Stone Hawkins and at the same time Jane Goddart wife of John Goddart relinquished her right of dower

      Indenture made October 8, 1761; between Ebsworth Bayne of Frederick County, Maryland, planter of one part and John Goddart, planter of PGCo of the other part. Witnessed that whereas William Torver, Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson late of the city of London, merchants and assignees of John Philpott also late of London merchant were by virtue thereof seized in their right in a certain tract of land lying on Henson Branch in PGCo called called "Saturday's Work" and whereas Dr. Andrew Scott has been lately by his deed of mortgage duly executed did convey and make over unto George Scott the same tract and whereas George Scott did by his deed make over unto John Philpott then of London merchant all his right title and interest. And whereas William Torver, Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson assignees of John Philpott the aforesaid did convey and make over the said tract unto Ebsworth Bayne by deed bearing date December 18, 1752. Now this indenture further witness that Ebsworth Bayne in consideration of the sum of 124 pounds sterling money of England paid by John Goddart has sold the aforesaid tract of land lying on Henson Branch being part of the plantation whereon Dr. Andrew Scott lately dwell called "Saturdays Work" containing and laid out for 280 acres. Signed Ebsworth Bayne in the presence of and acknowledged before Francis Waring, John Stone Hawkins and at the same time Susannah Bayne wife of Ebsworth Bayne relinquished her right of dower
