Witnessed that whereas James Edelen and George Hardy, Jr. were possessed of a grist mill in partnership near Piscattaway in the said James Edelen having by his last will and testament devised his 1/2 part or moiety of the mill and land to be sold. This indenture therefore further witnesseth that Edward Edelen, Jr. in consideration of 140 pounds current money paid by George Hardy, Jr. has sold his moiety or ½ part of the mill and land aforesaid beginning at "Middletons Lott" (now in possession of Elizabeth Wheeler) at the bank of a stony point on the north side of Piscattaway Main Run containing 850 square perches.
