Surveyed and divided for Edmond Stephens and others the following tract of land situated in the county of Boone on the waters of Gunpowder bounded and described as follows, Beginning at a stone a corner of a small lot of Wyatt Jones (Col) in line of M.C. Norman, thence S89-1/2E105 poles to a red oak in line with Benjamin Norman thence S88-1/4E86-3/5 poles to a stake a corner of Marshall's heirs, thence S3/4W104-1/2 poles to a stake a corner of Volney Dickerson in line of Sebastian Marshall's thence S1-3/4W27-1/3 poles to a stake thence N89-1/4W47 poles to a stakea corner of Mary Stansifer in line of Dollins heirs thence N1-1/4E132-4/5 poles to the beginning containing 133 acres.
