      In the Name of God Amen. I LEONARD ZIGLAR being sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory .. doth make this my last Will and Testament .. I mprm is Itm I give and bequest unto my beloved son CHRISTOPHER ZIGLAR the half of that Tract of land whereon I now live it being fore hundred & forty five acres be the same more or less. Itm I give etc to my beloved Son LEONARD ZIGLAR the other half of the said Tract of land and plantation whereon I now live Itm I give etc to my beloved daughter ELIZABETH ZIGLAR all that tract and parcel of land lying on Stoney Run and joyning FREDRICK ZIMMERMAN .. it being two hundred acres be the same or or less Itm I give etc to my beloved daughter ANN ZIGLAR the half of that tract of land joining Col SPOTSWOOD and GUTRIDGE LIGHTFOOT it being two hundred and sixty two acres be the same more or less, I tm I give etc to my beloved daughter SUSANA ZIGLAR the other half of the said tract of land lying and being as aforesaid And lastly my desire is that all my just debts be payed and discharged and my funeral expence by BARBERY ZIGLAR and FREDERICK ZIMMERMAN Exrs. of this my last Will and Testament and my desire is that the rest of my Estate be equally devided to each child a part by the Executors of this my last Will and Testament this third day of December 1757.

      At Court held for County of Culpeper on Thursday the 17th of August 1758.
      This last Will and Testament of Leonard Ziglar was exhibited into Court by Frederick Zimmerman .. and proved by oath of James Conner and Samuel Surket Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Frederick Zimmerman Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof having given Bond & security as the Law directs.
