Notes - Catholic in ST Mary's. Transported into the province in 1633 as well as his wife, who was a servant of Col William Evans. In the Will of Jeffery Hudson--18 Feb 1678--John and his heirs received the entire estate. 19Oct 1681 he patented 100 acres of "Coventry". 22 Oct 1681 patent for 150 acres of "Heards Choice".

"He named his first tract Hitchin and his 2nd land grant Offley, a parish of Herts., organized out of the Parish of Hitchin. He died leaving a will dated 29 July 1696, and proved 31 Aug 1696, in which he names his wife Susanna and son John, and directed this his wife Susanna have charge of the children"
