      Sep 5, 1750 from John Lamar Jr of Prince Georges County, planter, & Sarah, his wife, to William Wells of Anne Arundel County, planter, for and in consideration of a deed to John Lamar Jr of 130 acres (it being part of a tract of land called Charley) and for 5 shillings sterling and for divers other good causes, a tract of land now laid out and being another part of the said tract of Charley, lying partly in Prince Georges County and partly in CC. Signed - John Lemar Jr, Sarah (S her mark) Lemarr. Wit - John Hepburn, Benja Berry Jr. Sd Sarah released her dower. Recorded in Prince Georges Liber JJ folio 91.

Feb 29, 1752 from Thomas Harwood Jr of the City of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County, Gent, to John Lamar Jr of Prince Georges County, planter, and Sarah, his wife. Whereas ad Thomas Harwood Jr, in Apr term last, by writ of entry sur discisinence post, did recover against sd John Lamar Jr and Sarah, his wife, all that tract of plantable land now laid out and being part of a tract of land called Charley, being partly in Prince Georges and partly in CC, and bounded by Thomas Mershall Jr, Potomack River, containing and laid out for about 130 acres, as by the sd recovery, remaining of record in the Provincial Court of Maryland. The intent of these parties is that sd land so as afd recovered, shall inure to the only use and behoof of sd John Lamar Jr and Sarah, his wife. Jul 13, 1752 from John Lamar Jr of Prince Georges County, planter, and Sarah, his wife, to William Wiles of Anne Arundel County, planter, and Rebeckah, his wife, for and in consideration of a deed made by sd William and Rebeckah Wiles to sd Lamar for 130 acres of land, being one half of that part of a tract of land called Charley, that Mr William Marshall, decd, gave, by his will, to his 2 daughters, Sarah Marshall, now wife to John Lamar Jr, and Rebeckah Marshall, now wife to William Wiles, & to the heirs of their body lawfully begotten &c, and also for 5 shillings sterling by the afd William Wells and Rebecca, his wife, to them, and for divers other good causes, sd John Lamar Jr and Sarah, his wife, grant to William and Rebecca Wells, all their right to all that part of a tract of land lying part in Prince Georges County and part in CC, called Charley, being one half of the sd tract of Charley that Mr William Marshall decd gave by his will to his 2 daughters (as above), containing and laid out for about 130 acres.       Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records 1759-1763; Liber RR {Abstract by Mike Marshall}; Page 84. At the request of Abraham Jones the following Deed was recorded September 6, 1760
      Indenture made March 28, 1760; Thomas Philpot of the City of London, merchant in consideration of 100 pounds sterling paid by Abraham Jones of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Majors Lott" containing 206 acres and beginning on the west side of Collington Branch and bounded by William Brashears land and Samuel Pottenger's land. To warrant and defend from all manner of persons having any claim and also procure or cause Sarah Lamar, widow and relict of John Lamar, Jr., to exonerate and release her right of dower in said land. And lastly appoint Jonathan Slater of Calvert County, Maryland his true and lawful attorney to acknowledge this presents.
