Notes - Mary Anne Burton Finnell, her parents and others are buried in the Burton/Finnell/Roberts Cemetery located on the hill in back of left field at the Walton City Ball Park Boone Co KY. I was back there about 5 years ago and was directed to the Cemetery. It is on property owned by the City of Walton. It was thoroughly vandalized, markers broken and scattered. The City evidently dozed into the hill when they were leveling for the Ball park. They built a concrete retaining wall about 150 feet long and about 5 feet high to keep the kinfolk from rolling out into left field. This past year the area has been cleaned up and fenced and is being maintained. It is recorded in Old Cemetery Inscriptions of Boone and Kenton Counties, Rebecca Bryan Boone Chapter, DAR Ft Thomas, Kentucky 1970, Page 16,
