At the request of Samuel Middleton, the following deed was recorded on Jul 31, 1751. May 28, 1751 from William Hutchison of CC, planter, and Jane, his wife, and Ann Hanson, to Samuel Middleton of CC, planter, for 100 £sterling, and for divers other good causes, a tract of land in CC called Wheelers Purchase, it being the remaining part of a tract of land now in possession of William Eilbeck, bounded by John Wheeler's part, the woods, Potomack River, containing and laid out for about 300 acres. Signed - William Hutchison, Jane (X her mark) Hutchison, Anne Hanson. Wit - Thos Stone, Rd Harrison. The deed was acknowledged by Mr. William Hutchison & Madam Ann Hanson. Jane, the wife of William Hutchison released her dower.
