Know all men by these presents that we Alexander Marshall and Christ- Walthall are held and formally bound unto our sovereign Lord King Geroge the third in the just sum of Fifty pounds "leurr" money to be paid to our said Lord the King his heirs and Sucessors to which payment well & truely to be made we bind ourselves our heirs and jointly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 22nd day of June 1768.
Whereas a marriage is shortly Intented to be solemnized between the above bound Alexander Marshall and Anna Walthall. Now the condition of this presnt obligation is such that if there be no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
