      Aug. 19, 1818 - "The National Intelligencer," pub. in Washington, D.C. Individuals who perished on Saturday last [Aug. 15] aboard the vessel that floundered in the Potomac: .•. Miss Alvy, dau. of Mr. Basil Alvy, of St. Mary's Co., Md. This occurred near Quantico Creek during a violent storm.

Ordered that the report and sale made by Henry Alvey, the trustee for the sale of the real estate of Henry Alvey & others, children & heirs of Basil Alvey, be ratified.
