      Acknowledged in Court the 7th day of November 1709 and admitted to record THIS INDENTURE made the Fourth and 5th day of November 1709 Between THO DUDLEY of County of Middx. Planter of one part and OLIVER SEGAR and WILLIAM GRAY Gents Whereas said Thomas Dudley by Indenture dated the day before the date hereof sold unto said Oliver Segar and William Gray all that dwelling house wherein said Thomas Dudley now liveth and all that parcel of land and plantation containeing Three hundred acres of land begining at a marked Hickory at the head of the second branch within the point called TROUBLESOME POINT and running South a little Easterly to a marked white oake by the ROAD side at head of a branch lying between COLO WORMELEYs Quarter and down along the branch and so down along the Creek till it meets with Rappahanock River and so up along the River to Troublesome Point and from thence to the first beginning marked Hickory which said land was given by the Last Will and Testament of WILLIAM LEACH deced (dated the 3d day of March 1669) to his Grandson WILLIAM TIGNOR JUNR and by said William Tignor Junr. conveyed to MARY DUDLEY Widdow by Deed dated the 21st day of March 1690/1 which said Mary Dudley afterwards intermarryed with THOMAS WILLIAMSON and the said Thomas Williamson and Mary his Wife by their Deed dated the 26th day of March 1695 did convey said land to the said Thomas Dudley thirty acres part of the abovesd Three hundred acres of land being conveyed by said Thomas Dudley to AMBROSE BARFOOT by Deed dated the 1st of May 1697 and by said Ambrose Barfoot conveyed to Thomas Dudley againe by Deed dated the first of Septembr. 1708 To Hold the said land unto Oliver Segar and William Gray for terme of Six months to the end that by Virtue of the Statute for Transferring uses into possession the said Oliver Segar and William Gray might be in actuall possession Now This Indenture Witnesseth that said Thomas Dudley for sume of One hundred thirty pounds Start. money to him paid path sold unto said Oliver Segar and William Gray aforesaid tract of land
