      Westmoreland County Court 30th day of July 1718.
      The last Will and Testament of WILLIAM ALLEN, decd. was presented into Court by JAMES COURTNELL his Exor. who made oath thereto and being proved by the oaths of RICHARD HOPWOOD & JOHN GARNER two of the witnesses thereto is admitt to record and Upon Mocon of the said COURTWELL and his performing what is usual in such cases Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probate thereof in due form Ordered that JAMES COLEMAN, JEREMIAH GARLAND, THOMAS ALLISON & JOSEPH CARR or any three of them being first sworn before one of his Majesties Justices for the said County do some time before the next Court to be held for the County aforesaid value and appraise the said Estate of the said ALLEN in money and make report thereof to the next Court to be held for the said County.

      against the Estate of the said ALLEN for the sum of eight hundred pounds of tobacco payable at the rate of eighteen shillings sterling the hundred.

      Judgment is granted ALEXANDER PLUNKETT against JAMES COURTNEY, Exor. of WILLIAM ALLEN, deed. for the sum of three hundred twenty one pounds of tobacco due on balance of a bill ordered the said COURTNEY pay the same with costs.
      Judgment is granted PETER PERKINSON against JAMES COURTNEY, Exor. of WILLIAM ALLEN, deed. for the sum of two hundred seventy pounds of tobacco the same appearing due by bill [proved by the Plts. oath] ordered the said Exor. do pay the same with costs alias Exon.
      Judgment is granted JOSEPH ROGERS against JAMES COURTNEY, Exor. of WILLIAM ALLEN, deed. for the sum of seven hundred forty and five pounds of due by bill ordered that the said Exor. do pay the same when assets shall come to his hands together with costs alias Execucon.

      In the Accon on the Case brought by JAMES COURTNEY, Exor. of WILLIAM ALLEN, decd. against PATRICK SPENCE. It is ordered that JOHN SMITH joyner and DAVID JONES do view the work which the said ALLEN did for the said SPENCE [being what the PIt sues for] and that they report to the Court what they adjudged the same to be worth and Judgment to go accordingly.
