  Applied for Revolutionary War pension 30 July 1834 deposition of Burch that he was born 24 Feb. 1764 (sic) Montgomery Co., MD. Moved to "Louden" Co., VA after the war for 5 years before moving to Burke Co., NC in 1799. Record of ages kept by father in possession of my sister who married Mr. Jarrett Smith. 2 Oct. 1834 deposition of Posey Allison on that he was a brother to Burch and age 83.
