The Wailes records show Ann Naylor as dau of John Lawson Naylor, son of George Naylor d. 1788. The Naylors and Wailes had a long association from the time of the first Benjamin Wailes move from the Eastern Shore. An earlier George Naylor [who d. 1739] had taken care of Benjamin Wailes and Elizabeth Covington's plantation after their deaths. Samuel Perrie Wailes died intestate Prince George's Co. MD m. [lic] 8 Feb 1783 Ann Naylor had issue:
1. Ann Perrie Wailes b. abt 1784 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1854 Bartholomew Co. IN m. [lic.] 2 Feb 1807 Prince George's Co. MD her cousin Benjamin Naylor. Anne Perrie Wailes may have m. (2) Porter Llewellen in Indiana.
2. Benjamin Wailes b. abt 1789 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1829 Prince George's Co. MD m. 14 Feb 1816 Prince george's Co. MD Sophia Wilson.
3. Samuel Perrie Wailes b. abt 1790 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 19 Dec 1855 near Plano, Appenoose Co. Iowa m. 17 Feb 1827 Mary Susanna [.....] Wilson d. abt 1851 near Bloomfield, Davis Co. Iowa, widow of James William Wilson of Prince George's Co. MD.
4. Levin Covington Wailes b. abt 1796 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1815 Prince George's Co. MD. Never married.
5. John Perrie Wailes b. abt 1795 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1883 Florence, Kansas m. 1836 Walesboro, Indiana Sophia Elizabeth Wilson d. 1861 near Plano, Iowa, dau of James William Wilson and Mary Susannah (above).
6. Hezekiah Wailes b. abt 1798 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1854 near Plano, Appenoose Co. Iowa. Never married.
7. Leonard Covington Wailes b. abt 1799 Prince George's Co. MD; d. 1870 near Plano, Appnoose Co. Iowa m. Elizabeth Dougherty.
