      Unto my eldest son Thomas the plantation he now lives upon situate and lying in Southfarnham Parish.
      Unto my son Benjamin after my wife's decease the plantation I now live upon.
      Unto my son Benja. after my wife's decease the land I bought of John Smith.
      My wife Ann enjoy my said dwelling plantation and said land bought of John Smith for her naturall life.
      Unto my sons Thomas and Benja. and my daughter Elizabeth £5 each.
      and Elizabeth my two Negros Tony and Bess, the said Negros to be valued and two my sons or daughters to have the said Negros paying the other three their proportionable part.
      My personall estate equally divided between my beloved wife Ann, my daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Ann and my sons Richard and Joseph.

      3 April 1707. Bond of John Parker of Essex County unto Thomas Winslow and Ann his wife lately called Ann Parker of Essex County, John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife lately called Elizabeth Parker of King and Queen County, and Frances Parker of Essex County, single woman. For £500.
      To perform and obey the award and judgment of Colo. Richard Covington, Majr. James Boughan, Mr. Francis Gouldman and Mr. Robert Brooke, arbitrators to determine the difference depending in Essex County Court concerning the partition of 800 acres devised unto John, Anne, Elizabeth and Frances Parker by their father Robert Parker in his last will dated 15 Jan. 1686 in these words: My worldly estate I give and bequeath in the manner following, my wife to enjoy the house and plantation during her life, but all my land being 800 acres by computation I give and bequeath unto my four children to each 200 acres, still reserving to my wife the plantation for her life, then my son John to have the first choyce of 200 acres ... so likewise to the other three children.
      And if the arbitratrators shall put in writing no such award before 8 April, then John Parker shall abide by the judgment of Mr. Francis Moore, umpire.

Whereas divers controversies are depending between Thomas Winslow and Anne his wife lately called Anne Parker of Essex County, John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife lately called Elizabeth Parker of King and Queen County, and Frances Parker of Essex County, single woman, of the one party and John Parker of Essex County of the other party, for the determining whereof the parties are bound 3 April in sum of 1500 to arbitrate concerning the partition of 800 acres given John, Anne, Elizabeth and Frances Parker by their father Robert Parker in his last will 15 Jan. 1686/7, The 800 acres being two severall situations: in the forrest 400 acres formerly granted by patent to Thomas Pells ... east line near the plantation of Thomas Reynolds the other 400
      acres being that plantation whereon the testator lived We divide as follows: ... east side of the road ... Mr. Pley's spring branch ...
      John Parker made his choice of the lower part of that dividend whereon the testator died.
      Thomas Winslow and Anne his wife hold the lower part of that 400 acres in the forrest.
      John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife hold the other part of that devidend in the forrest.
      Frances Parker have the remaining part of that tract where John Parker hath made his election.
      Parties pay their own costs and to Salvator Muscoe for drawing the instruments of writing between them, 200 pounds of tobacco, and for James Boughan Junr. for surveying, 500 pounds

      TO ALL PEOPLE I JOHN BAGGE of St. Anns Parish in Essex County Clerk for love & affection which I bear unto THOMAS WINSLOW and ANN his Wife of St. Anns Parish in Essex County & their Children named THOMAS, BENJAMIN, RICHARD, JOSEPH, ELIZABETH, MARY, & ANN, & also for diverse other good causes & also for sum of Five shillings in hand paid have granted by these presents unto said Thomas Winslow & Ann his Wife & to the said Children all & every of these Six negroes or Negro Slaves following to Witt, Tom, Dick, Gabriel, Moll, Beck, Mille together with their future increase To have and to hold all the said Negroes unto said Thomas Winslow & Ann his Wife for and during their Natural lives, & the Natural life of the Survivour of them & after their decease unto the said children after the decease of sd Thomas Winslow & Ann his Wife to be valued in Money by three honest men to be named & agreed upon by the said Children or the great number of them. and than according to valuation to be devided among the said Children or their Survivors in such manner that such of the children as may have the said Negroes paying such as have none, the proper vallue in Money and Said John Bagge doe warrant & forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I have set my hand & seal this Seventeenth day of December 1722

      THIS INDENTURE made this Twentieth day of May in the Twenty fifth year of reign of our Sovereign Lord, George the second, by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c. and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Fifty two Between BEVERLEY WINSLOW, BEVERLEY STANARD & LARKIN CHEW of County of SPOTSYLVANIA. Gentlemen, and SIMON MILLER of County of Essex, Gent., Executors of the Last Will and Testament of BENJAMIN WINSLOW, late of County of Essex deceased, of one part and WILLIAM PARKER of County of Essex of other part; Whereas BENJAMIN WINSLOW in his life time was seized in his demsne as of fee in diverss lands and tenements with appurtenances lying in County of Essex, and being so thereof seized made his Last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date the Sixteenth day of December Anno Dom: one thousand seven hundred and Forty eight and therein among other things is contained these two clauses "Item. My Will is that the Land I now live on with the land of bought of JOHN SMITH also be sold for the most that can be got for it, and Deeds made by my Exors. for the conveyance. hem I appoint my Son, BEVERLEY, and Mr. BEVERLEY STANARD. Mr. LARKIN CHEW and Mr. SIMON MILLER my Executors." as in and by the said Will duly proved in the County Court of Essex and there remaining of Record may more fully appear; That soon after making the said Will said BENJAMIN WINSLOW died seised of the land & premises aforesaid after whose death the said BEVERLEY WINSLOW, BEVERLEY STANARD, LARKIN CHEW and SIMON MILLER took upon themselves the burthen of the execution of the said Will And Whereas afterwards on the Twenty fifth day of September one thousand seven hundred and fifty one at Public Auction and Sale the said BEVERLEY WINSLOW, BEVERLEY STANNARD, LARKIN CHEW and SIMON MILLER did sell one tract of land and Plantation whereon sd. BENJAMIN lately lived containing by estimation fifty acres and was formerly conveyed to THOMAS WINSLOW, Father of said BENJAMIN, by NICHOLAS FAULNER by his certain Deed of Bargain and Sale bearing date the Ninth day of Febuary one thousand Six hundred and Ninety three and afterwards given and bequeathed by said THOMAS WINSLOW deced., to his sd. Son, BENJAMIN WINSLOW, by his Will bearing date the Twenty ninth day of January one thousand seven hundred and Twenty five, & also one other tract of land lying in County of Essex containing by estimation One hundred and seventy acres. Seventy seven acres part thereof being a tract of land formerly sold and conveyed to THOMAS WINSLOW deced., by JOHN SMITH by his certain Deeds of Lease and Release bearing date respectively the ten and eleveneth days of December one thousand seven hundred and Thirteen, and afterwards, to wit, the Twenty ninth day of Janry. one thousand seven hundred &Twenty five was given and bequeath to sd. BENJAMIN WINSLOW by the Will of his Father, the said THOMAS WINSLOW deced.. the remaining Ninety three acres being a tract of land bought by BENJAMIN WINSLOW of the aforesd. JOHN SMITH and conveyed by certain Deeds of Lease and Release bearing date respectively the fifteenth and sixteenth days of November one thousand seven hundred & Twenty nine, to the said WILLIAM PARKER for the sum of Three hundred & Sixty three pounds current money being the most that was offered or could be got for the same, NOW THIS INDENTURE Witnesseth that BEVERLEY WINSLOW, BEVERLEY STANNARD, LARKIN CHEW & SIMON MILLER, in pursuance of the Trust reposed in them by the said BENJAMIN WINSLOWs Will and for the sum of Three hundred and Sixty three pounds current money by WILLIAM PARKER in hand paid by these presents do bargain sell and confirm unto WILLIAM PARKER his heirs all the aforesaid Fifty acres of Land and premises with their appurtenances and all of the aforesd. One hundred and Seventy acres of land & premises with their appurtenances lying in County of Essex described as aforesd. Together with all house orchards profits and appurtenances to the same belonging, To have and to hold the fifty acres of land be the same more or less and also the one hundred and seventy acres of land be the same more or less unto WILLIAM PARKER his heirs, In Witness whereof the said BEVERLEY WIN-SLOW BEVERLEY STANNARD. LARKIN CHEW and SIMON MILLER have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above mentioned
